Which Schools Did Fortune’s Leading Women in Business Attend?

Updated UpdatedIt was recently pointed out that less than half of the members of Fortune Magazine’s Most Powerful Women in Business list for 2014 had attended a graduate business school program. That’s just 18 of the 50 members, or roughly 36%.
Conclusion taken by the article: you don’t necessarily need an MBA to make Fortune Magazine’s high-powered women in business list.
But, is this misleading? A quick look at the top 10 members of Fortune’s list reveals that eight have taken graduate programs at top business schools (if we include executive education), and six of these leading women in business are, in fact, MBA graduates.
That’s 80% and 60% of Fortune’s top 10 – perhaps the MBA is not so irrelevant after all?
